1)-Intro
ReplyDeleteThe industry of the fashion world is attracting the generation of today. In the direction it's heading it's marketing is powerful. The way we dress makes us even easier to comunicate with others. The way I see it we are rewarded a new look all the time. Showing you care about your clothes makes other people look at you in a positive light.
During the 1960s it was the era of the hippies. Everyone back then was wearing very colorful shirts and pants. For most of the time everyone looked alike. There was no difference, individuality, or sense of fashion. 50 years later all of that has changed. You won’t find the two people wearing the same shirt every single day. Now a day we wear clothes because it shows our mood, style and what we like. What we wear is who we think we are and what we want to show people we are.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever wondered what a person truly is by looking at what they’re wearing? Many people determine what a person is by looking at their style of clothing. It may either be that a person doesn’t care how they appear to others, others care to show their professional look and some are laid back comfortable in their casual clothes. Yet, how do we know our judgments are accurate about what a person is by the way they are dressed. Little do we know that our determinations might also be off track. The only determination we may know for sure is who we are by the way we dress ourselves.
ReplyDeleteIntro and Conclusion 1
ReplyDeleteYou are what you wear, but that turns out to be as complex as you are. In this sense, it means to me that what you wear is who you are. It describes what kind of taste you have and your personality and what you like stands out. Everyone in this world is different and complex so it describes who you are in the sense of clothing. Not all can choose what to wear not many are fortunate to buy the clothes they want to express themselves, so they have to settle with what they got. Even if they can’t choose with the choices they have.
I can say clothing reflects me on who I am but in a way it doesn’t either but I cans see why people say it expresses them self. Someone that likes attention would wear bright colors so can see them easily. A nudist doesn’t wear clothes but it’s expressing who they are, a open minded person that likes to feel free. A sporty person like to wear sweats, jerseys, and hats. Whatever it is, you can get a sense of an idea who the person is or may like. A reason why I wouldn’t agree is you can’t judge a book by it’s cover. Just because there wearing something doesn’t mean they might like this or that, or is this kind of person or whatever the reason is. So in this topic I strongly think what you wear reflects who you are and also how and what you wear can not reflect who you are.
Intro 1: What we wear is absolutely a reflection of who we are. What we choose to put on our bodies especially when we go out in public says a lot about who we are and how we see ourselves. If we were to take pride in ourselves and have a positive self-image we are more likely to put on clothing that reflects that. Clothes can make a direct statement to the world. In most cases you can make a guess on a person's mood based on their clothing. What we wear is much more than just material used to cover ourselves. Clothes actually tell a story and put all of us into characters in our daily lives. What we wear reflects different things about us depending on our current situation.
ReplyDeleteConclusion 1: In Conclusion, clothes whether we want them to or not make a statement about who we are. That statement could be who we want to become or what we are comfortable wearing or what our mood is that day. Clothing says a lot about the things we do, the things we like and the things we believe in. We are all different people with all different styles and I know that’s going to stick around for a long time. That's something that will never change.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I dress myself, I make sure I am comfortable in it and it is right for the occasion. Many others might do the same as well or the opposite. Then there are those who comment on other people stating what that person is by their appearance. Are they so sure that the person they are commenting on is what the judgmental person has said? There’s always going to be critics out in the world but as critics they should know there’s a chance of them being right and wrong. Therefore I say get to know the person before judging them only by their looks.
ReplyDeleteEverytime I wear a skirt outside, guys look at me like am apiece of meat they can get. People would think I’m promiscuous wearing a short skirt in the Unted States put just because I wear skirt doesn’t mean I am. Just because people wear different type clothing doesn’t mean it reflect who they are is only a part of then and the only way one can tell who they are is by there actions.
ReplyDeleteInto 2: Often if we are involved in group of friends, we tend to have the ability to influence one another's choices when it comes to clothing. In High School most students find their inner self’s and try to find what category they really are. In High School and everywhere we go we always see people that are very different from one another, the talk, the walk the situations and also the way of dressing. We can also spot whether a person belongs to a particular crowd that is well known from what they wear. Goths, rockers, punks, ghetto, hippies are all easy to pick out from a crowd because of the way that they dress.
ReplyDelete2)-Intro
ReplyDeleteThere are different things to say about what kind of clothes are being worn. Colorful designs and patterns come to life when we want to look good. Wearing nice clothes shows others as well as yourself that you are independent. The freedom we have in this country to buy what we like to wear is dashing. Hopefully the generation to come will progress and come out with new ideas to what we wear.
conclusion 1:At the end of the day there will always be people we see as the bad and good ones based on how they dress whether it is big earrings or casual rock singing. We judge people on the way they dress and think that’s how they act when we are the ones judging our self’s because we think we are dressed appropriate or better then them. One day the judged will be the one judging.
ReplyDeleteIn today’s world the fashion industry is most successful only because people are willing to waste money on clothing more than paying bills. For example 10 Spot, Easy picking, and Old navy are carrying different types of style clothing. Others who are wealthy people would shop at the mall and buy of different stores just because they carry different style of clothing like Macy’s, A/M, and Victoria Secret. They would spend more than $1,000 dollars in the mall than in B-line. Wealthy or not wealthy people they will still spend money on fashion. It’s clear to see that clothing does reflect on who you are.
ReplyDeleteFashion does reflect on who are. Clothing is the key to show others you’re personally. Your style of clothing will help others try to discard you. Without fashion people wouldn’t have the chance to show the world who they really are. Fashion is the key to express ourselves.
The fashion industry is most successful only because people are willing to waste money on clothing more than saving money. For example people who go to the mall will waste more than $2,000 others who are not wealthy people would shop at different stores like at Bengaline.
Fashion does reflect on who are by others seeing you. Clothing is important for our world otherwise we can’t express ourselves. Your form of dressing can tell others the kind of person you are.
Does the way we dress truly represent who we are?
ReplyDeleteIntro 1)Clothing is very essential in life it is covers our skin and reflects on your taste. Many of us even consider our choice of clothing as an identity to who we are. There are people that dress according to the daily mood they wake up in. Not everyone dresses the same as the other, and not everyone dresses up every day. We may all have different perspectives about fashion, but at the end at the end of the day we should take into consideration that the way we dress reflects to who we are.
Intro 2)A first impression is a key factor to who we are. The clothing we wear delivers an image to others and creates an opinion of who we are. Dressing according to our moods is the best way to reflect on how we are feeling. Everyone has different taste in the way they dress but one thing is certain we do communicate style with our personality. People have different perspectives about fashion, but at we should take into consideration that the way we dress reflects to our inner self.
Conclusion 1)If people don’t know you and look at you for first time they will make predictions upon the way you. Dressing isn’t just important for the way people look at you but for your own self so you can be able to get more compliments which will boost your self esteem. If you want to get compliments and be seen in a better way care for your hygiene and appearance. Physical attraction is such an important factor in one’s life and we should never give up on it because it really does represent who we are. The way we dress might not say everything about it but it definitely makes up for a lot of unspoken words.
Conclusion 2)People might not know you the first time they take a glance at you and they’ll make predictions of who you are upon what they see. Dressing shouldn’t just be to impress someone but do it so you can feel good within yourself. Receiving complements is a great feeling it lifts up your self esteem and can give you a boost that can change your bad day into a good one. The way we dress might not say it all about us but it sure makes up for the unspoken words we say.
Imagine just how many people might have not cared so much of their appearance if it wasn’t for the existence of critics. Would our world have changed at all? Since there are critics some of us actually care of how we look once we step outside our homes. Yet, there are some who can care less on how they may be commented on. Critics are critics and they do what they are best at which is commenting, but their analysis may not always be correct on stating what a person is by their clothing. One day a person may dress up for an occasion but the next day may be casual and it so happens that a judgment was made on that person on one of those days and had concluded that the person is of high quality style or laid back. So it is best if you leave the judging of what we are to ourselves.
ReplyDeleteConclusion 2: With current fashion trends as they are, it seems that modesty and dressing appropriately has gone right out the window, replaced by the shortest, tightest, most revealing clothes women and tween-teen girls can find. Weather is a crop tops, mini or micro mini-skirts, short-shorts and other provocative clothing styles that leave little to the imagination. The clothes you choose to wear on a daily basis provides important information about you as a person, your approximate education level, your income or social status, and even your level of self-esteem.
ReplyDeleteIntro 1: In our society, there is a diversity especially in clothing. What you wear is absolutely a reflection of who you are. Whether we know it or not clothing tells the world about us and about our style. Clothing is a broad spectrum and a variety of different things and has different aspects on people. Some factors that relate to diversity in clothing are religion beliefs, gangs, and music influences. Clothing is a representation of who we are, and brings out one’s personality.
ReplyDeleteIntro 1 : Nowadays with one outfit, it can reveal a whole lot about ones individuality and personality. With the society today being so quick to judge, can the clothes we put on our back define us? With so many different styles and so many to fit our qualities and mood, our clothing is just another way to convey ourselves and define us on who we are. With clothing being so versatile and being such a good and easy portal to express our atmosphere, and our own personal style, clothing is what composes a person.
ReplyDeleteClothing is an exterior part of ourselves that we flaunt and show to others. It’s a fashion style that reflects our way of life and brings out a positive image and how we feel. Clothing makes a statement about who we are and it expresses and that’s something everyone will have about themselves and it will never change. We are involved in a society where clothing will always be judged but at the end of the day it’s a representation of who you are and how it brings out your own personality.
ReplyDeleteOf all the people in this world, I believe that saying what we are by what we wear is best to be said by ourselves. Not everyone may look at us every day to make an opinion on what we are just by looking at us one time. In my opinion I would say to get to the know the person before making any kind of judgment. Little do we know we may be commenting on someone when our comment could have been of total opposite result. So we can’t just go ahead and make a conclusion of what a person is just by looking at them once, get to meet the person and then might have a judgment of accuracy.
ReplyDelete“In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different” by Coco Chanel, famous French designer. People have a way to be different by what they are wearing. Every ones attitude is different towards a different subject. Peoples style has to do with the attitude they have. The kind of style they have reflected on what they like as in music and fashion.

ReplyDeleteDoes clothing truly reflect who you are....no one
ReplyDeletecan REALLY be sure, clothing all in itself speaks
for us with its design and style. Everyone has differences that helps us from looking like a single-minded collective. Clothing really just a
piece of our selves that we are wiling to show the
world.
Intro 1: I am a clothing fanatic I love every kind of label of clothing that there is out. I have a lot of friends asking me when I go to places where I get my clothes and shoes from and when I hear that I just get happy because just that short time I know that I am one of a kind and no one has what I am wearing and that means something to me, at times its hard pulling of a good look every day so that I can present myself and have a good image towards people and what think of me at the same time. As from my thoughts I can say and see in my life that what I wear does reflect who I am, in the past I know that fashion didn’t matter to me like when I want in public I just wearied anything because to me it wasn’t important now that I am in a different place in my life I have to dress the best I can so that people would have a good look on me and not think like I am from the bottom of the class. Now in today society people look at you and what you wear and judge without even knowing that person and from that I can agree with that statement. What I wear does reflect me in my life but why does it matter to society that much what clothing people wear or the label it stands for.
ReplyDeleteIntro 2: Does what I wear does it make me who I am in my life? I can say it does in many ways for example when I go to school I may dress in normal clothing like jeans and a t-shirts and when I am in my work place I dress personal with a suit and dressing shoes. When I go in public I know that I have to look the best I can because people judge me and what I am wearing. In my past when I was a little younger I never cared how dress, like it wasn’t important to present myself how society want me to look now. If society is part of how we dress and look why do they put so much time into it and not focus on other subjects in the world
ReplyDeleteConclusion 1: In conclusion my clothes or what I wear does make who I am in today’s world. If I didn’t dress how I do now then I wouldn’t be in the place that I am in now working in a studio. Clothes in a way are to present oneself in a professional and that’s true. As for society it has to stop its judgment towards what people are wearing because we are all the same and what we wear doesn’t matter sometimes. Society should also stop worrying about everything and just go back as how things were in the good days when all they just worried about was the planet and not the new style of fashion of clothes that there is out there.
ReplyDeleteConclusion 2: In today society appearance is everything and if you don’t fit the part you would get judge by the way you look and how you dress. No matter where you going you always have to look your best because if don’t you would know that people around would be looking at you and judge you from what you are wearing. Even in the past clothing didn’t many anything to me but now I see it does because it makes me who I am now. I know styles have grown but why do people but all they energy and focus into what they wear. Clothing does make people appearance look good but it doesn’t make the person like you are who you are and what society says it just words wear what make you and not the rest.
ReplyDeleteHave you ever thought at what would you do if people start thinking you were weird or emo because you wear all black? Will I disagree with that just because someone that wears all black doesn’t mean that there emo. It can just mean they like the color black or they have nothing else to wear. So we shouldn’t judge people for what they wear but what they do.
ReplyDeleteIf people just stop trying to say who the person is or there personality by looking at the clothes people wears the world would people be a little nicer. Clothes doesn’t tell someone personality but maybe there mood, what type music they like or were they work. But clothes will only tell little part if the person and there action would tell more if there personality.
ReplyDelete1. Introduction 1 “Hook Intro “
ReplyDeleteCan one really change people’s perspective by dressing a certain way? Does peoples perspective Matter? One may dress to the mood he/she is in! Others may dress for a job they have which really doesn’t tell anyone who they are! On my free time I like to dress as comfortable as possible! Sweats, T shirt, and Sneakers! Before starting school I worked for a Mortgage company, meaning I needed a three piece suit 4 days a week! Fridays was wear whatever you want day! So every Friday was jeans and sneakers for me, with a fitted cap and a pair of Jordan’s! Yes I looked like the only thug on Fridays, BUT My bosses didn’t Care how I looked, as long as I was A.B.C ing , in the mortgage world, no one cared how you looked, how you talked, Where you come from, Or what you do ! as long as your A.B.Cing (ALWAYS BE CLOSING) deals! As long as your closing deals, bringing in the big checks, they wouldn’t have cared if people came in with paint on their faces! On the other hand if I had a client coming into the office to close on a deal, my bosses would definitely have me in a suit! Which is much needed as a Great impression for my clients!
2. In conclusion People may dress to impress, or simply dress to keep up with today’s fashion! At the end of the day, what you are, and what you’ve done is what’s important ! Success doesn’t have a face or wardrobe !
3. Introduction 2 “Personal Narrative intro”
Every Morning after showering, I have to decide on what to wear. Whether it’s for school or work. Staring down a huge closet filled with jeans, sweaters, T shirts, sweats, button downs, slacks, and suits, usually isn’t the easiest thing to decide on first thing in the morning! Usually Where I’m heading helps me decide what I’m going to puzzle together !
4.Depending what one has arranged for day, People usually dress to the occasion .Which will help determine what one will wear !
Get up from bed. Go to your closet. How do you feel today? Look for an outfit that best suits you now. Get ready and face another day. I can imagine that this is what people do when they wake up. They don’t do this exactly, but the way they wake up and how they feel will help them find something that can reflect their mood.
ReplyDeleteIntro:
ReplyDeleteHow can clothes reflect who you are, how you feel, and your mood? Clothing can reflect you in so many different ways. It helps reflect to humanity if you are not having a good day, some portions of your personality, and how you want to be notice to certain special people. Clothing can make a direct statement about you, but also it depends how you let it reflect in you.
Conclusion 1:
ReplyDeleteImagine if clothing didn’t reflect anyone in their moods or personality. Would Society be able to judge or immediately say who the person is? I’m pretty sure people would think it’s a mystery to figure out who that person really is, and etc. Society wouldn't be so judgemental as it is today.
Conclusion 2:
ReplyDeleteIn clothing there are so many brands in clothing, and there is also so many different style. I like to dress nice in an occasion event or when I go out I wear something nice too. But there are days that you can feel so down and just put whatever, and that’s when people start saying who they think you are. Clothing can reflect you in some parts, but it can't reflect your whole personality, and who you really are.
The clothes we were reflect who we are because we picked them out from millions of pants and shirts out there. We picked out what we have for the color, design, or because you like the designer that did it. Whether it’s sweats or a skirt it’s part of you. Whatever the case is the clothes that we put on reflect upon who we are.
